This event promises a vibrant celebration of contemporary textile art and craftsmanship, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.
I am overjoyed to share with you the heartwarming news that my hand-embroidered masterpiece, “Dreaming About White Christmas,” has been crowned with the prestigious People’s Choice Award at the Textile Fantasies Exhibition 2023, hosted at the Open Gallery, Halifax.
The exhibition “Textile Fantasies” will run from the 8th to the 29th of December, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of this event. This exhibition celebrates the creativity and beauty of fine art and textile art, and I am humbled to have my works included among such talented artists.
With over 400 exhibitors and performers, the expo showcased an astonishing variety of artworks.
This visual arts showcase, held in South Devon, aims to celebrate diversity, originality, and talent in the art world. I am honored to be part of this event with two of my artworks, Lady Slipper Black and Lady Slipper Blue and White.
This exciting opportunity marks a significant milestone in my artistic journey. Being represented by such a prestigious gallery not only gives my textile art and fine art a wider audience but also provides valuable support and exposure within the art and design community.
I am thrilled to announce that my artwork, “Transparency and Justice,” was showcased at the prestigious Knitting and Stitching Show in London as part of the Embroiderers’ Guild display. This remarkable event, held in October 2023, provided a platform to celebrate the latest achievements in textile art and embroidery.
