Textile collage is one of my alternatives.
To be honest, I haven't had many chances to apply this technique. The main reason is that I primarily associate it with Pop Art, which hasn't been a priority for me in the past year.
But who knows what the future holds?
Either way, I hope @opengallery.info will provide me with an opportunity to showcase not only my collage through the "Textile Fantasies" poster but also exhibit a few of these works 😉.

I thought about this prompt for several days... What is my secret weapon? I have no idea!
Then, I received really upsetting responses in stories and became really angry.
I thought, "WTF! I worked so hard to learn everything I know now. I've studied a lot and paid for it, not only with money (information must be "free," right 😉), but also with personal and family time."
So, perhaps my weapon is my skills and knowledge 🤔

As I've noticed, the chain is no longer "unexpected" 😉. Is it just me, or is it everywhere now? 😆 But I still love chains and the effect they give to compositions.
For the Hope piece, the choice was not only visually pleasing but mainly symbolic.
Additionally, I realized how difficult it is to find the exact tint of chain required. Well, it seems like I'll continue experimenting (as a mixed-media artist?) 😉.

This prompt seems like the right spot to talk a bit about my heritage. Here are some aspects of national crafts that I interpret in my own way:
☑ Goldwork embroidery: I play with color (blue and white), materials (no metallic thread at all), and technique (using felt instead of thick paper).
☑ Slavic (Cyrillic) lettering: My interpretation is inspired by tradition but still contemporary.
☑Books and/or windows: when woodcarving meets illustration 😉.
