I’m Ksenia, a hand embroidery and textile artist based in Hove. My work moves between art, fashion and craft, drawing on traditional embroidery while responding to contemporary subjects. I create framed artworks, sculptural textile pieces and embroidered accessories, each made with attention to how it will be seen and experienced.

An embroidered work offers more than an image on a wall. From a distance, a visitor sees its subject, colour and composition. Closer inspection reveals the surface: the way thread, beads and other materials catch the light and give the piece its depth. That change in perspective gives people a reason to stop, look again and talk about what they see.

For a gallery, my work offers original textile art with a story behind both the subject and its making. For a hotel or restaurant, it can give an interior a distinct point of interest. For a shop, an exclusive selection offers customers work they can encounter in person and ask about before buying.

I approach each collaboration according to the space and its audience. We can discuss existing artworks, a display, or work produced specifically for a retail or interior project, with the scope and commercial terms agreed before we proceed.
