This project draws inspiration from the beloved Christmas movie, "Home Alone."
It serves as a personal reflection on the current reality that has profoundly impacted our lives. While Christmas is traditionally a time of hope and joy, it can be challenging to maintain a cheerful disposition. Therefore, it is crucial to preserve and cherish any source of positive energy. For me, that energy comes from various moments in this film that never fail to bring a smile to my face. Through my embroidery works, I am delighted to share these moments with you.
The artwork is created using the embroidery collage technique on cotton fabric, using high-quality embroidery threads. Additionally, the organza fabric used in the piece has been hand-dyed, adding an extra layer of artistic detail. Each textile artwork is mounted on a wood frame and ready to be displayed.

I am overjoyed to share with you the heartwarming news that my hand-embroidered masterpiece, “Dreaming About White Christmas,” has been crowned with the prestigious People’s Choice Award at the Textile Fantasies Exhibition 2023, hosted at the Open Gallery, Halifax.
