Project Description

This diploma piece was my final project for the Couture Embroidery Artist Course at the Vintage Rose Couture Embroidery Academy. The assignment involved interpreting a provided pattern using a set of materials and applying as many of the learned techniques as possible.

The embroidery was completed on an A1-sized canvas, and took approximately two months to finish. Alongside the required elements, I challenged myself to incorporate additional embroidery methods beyond the course curriculum—especially in areas like the grass and water flowers.

This final piece reflects the full range of skills developed during the course, combining Luneville embroidery, needle-based work, and a personal approach to detail and composition.

Key techniques utilized: Luneville embroidery, needlework.

Format of the work: A1 (841×594mm)
