I’m excited to share that my artwork "Pearl Shoes" will be featured in the exhibition "No Place Like Home", inspired by The Wizard of Oz, as part of the Neath Arts Festival.
The exhibition will take place at Queen Street Gallery in Neath, from 5th to 20th October.
“Pearl Shoes” pays homage to the traditional Russian pearl embroidery technique, a part of my heritage. This piece embodies the beauty of craftsmanship and carries a deep connection to cultural history, aligning with the exhibition’s theme of home and journey. While I won’t be able to attend, I’m honoured that my work will be displayed alongside other talented artists celebrating the iconic story of The Wizard of Oz.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, 5th October at 2 PM, and will run for two weeks as part of the broader Neath Arts Festival, showcasing a variety of artistic interpretations of “home.”
