I’ll be taking part in England’s Medieval Festival, held on 23, 24 & 25 August 2025 at The King’s Grove, Pippingford, East Sussex.
You’ll find me in the ROSA Heritage Craft Hall, a new section curated by ROSA to showcase makers who work with traditional skills and keep heritage crafts alive in contemporary practice.
Over the course of the weekend, I’ll be demonstrating how I create textile jewellery using the pearl setting technique—a heritage embroidery method rarely seen today but still relevant in modern accessory design. This is a chance to see up close how tiny pearls and beads are stitched in structured compositions and turned into wearable pieces.
I’ll also be delivering a short, hands-on workshop on making a multi-strand bracelet, which introduces the technique in a simple and accessible format. If you’re interested in craft that combines historical skill with personal expression, this is something you can try on the spot—and take home with you.
If you’re planning to attend the Festival, stop by and say hello. And if you know a venue or event that would be a good fit for this kind of activity, feel free to get in touch.
