For me, it’s those plastic tattoo chokers from childhood—a fun memory best left in the past (for now… who knows when they might resurface?). Who else remembers them? Wave in the comments! 😉

Shadow and Bloom: What’s it all about?
I’ve shared at least six posts about this collection, but I realized I haven’t explained it in plain and simple terms — so here’s the breakdown!

What is Shadow and Bloom?
It’s my textile accessories collection, created for those who love bold drama, rich colors, and materials like silk, chiffon, and satin. Think roses, textures, and statement-making details.

What makes it special?
Everything is handmade—yes, every rose, bow, lace, and detail is crafted by me.

What’s included?
Currently, the collection features:

❤️ Chokers with long laces
❤️ Bow hair clips
❤️ Scrunchies

What’s next?
Bow brooches are on their way, and I plan to expand the collection with new designs that stay true to the same bold, dramatic spirit.

What stays the same?
The color palette: red, maroon, black, and nude. For now, I see it only in these tones.
That said, I do have a few chokers in pink or purple—check them out in my shop!

How do you usually put your looks together? Do you

How do you usually put your looks together? Do you build everything around your favorite bag? Or stick to practical basics—five shirts and four office skirts or trousers that go with everything? Maybe you're the type who storms Zara weekly, chasing the latest trends?

I get it—choosing between practical and bold can be a real dilemma. Personally, I hate shopping, so I sew. But even then, I face the same question: Should I go for something useful or that fancy (but totally impractical) dress or jacket?

But when it comes to my Shadow and Bloom collection, I don’t feel torn. I can already picture it with denim jeans (or a skirt, or a dress), white and black satin shirts, a beige leather jacket, and dark chocolate leather trousers. And maybe something jersey for a casual vibe.

It’s something to think about tonight.

Black, red, and white — maybe with a touch of gold — might seem bold, but for me, they’re classic and endlessly inspiring (and yes, I’m steering clear of calling them “timeless”).

While I enjoy pink and the Barbiecore trend, these shades have always felt like home. They’re dramatic, versatile, and full of character — the perfect combination for Shadow and Bloom.

But it’s not all personal. Current trends are brimming with black, grey, white, and bold accents. I stay tuned to insights from trend agencies and Pantone picks, and while bold colors always have their place, I’ve found my own take on them.

They say you need to find your niche—and I agree. Shadow and Bloom helps me focus on one direction, even as I experiment with other ideas in my practice.

I guess not. 😊 How do I know? I’ve been checking the stats carefully.

It seems like something is trying to tell me that my attempts at photography aren’t as interesting as my stitching reels (yep, they get way more views).

But here’s the thing—how am I supposed to show what I’m doing beyond endless stitching process reels? And how am I supposed to practice my photography?

As I mentioned two posts ago, this month is all about Shadow and Bloom.

What is it, you ask? One evening, I was playing around with mind maps and associations, and I realized I wanted to create textile accessories in shades of red, black, maroon, and white, featuring roses. So, I took a look at everything I’ve made so far, revised my ideas, and created a plan for a complete collection.

And honestly? I’m absolutely in love with it!
